About data backup

Smart Bluetooth Marketing stores all it's data (user settings, marketing campaigns, received files, statistics) in the database.
The database file (smb.data) is located in the Application data folder of your profile (commonly "c:\documents and settings\YOUR_USERNAME\Application Data\SmartBluetoothMarketing\" on Windows XP and "c:\users\YOUR_USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\SmartBluetoothMarketing\" on Windows Vista and Windows 7.

It is essential to make backup copies of the database periodically to protect yourself from hardware malfunction, operating system crashes, etc.

Smart Bluetooth Marketing can be configured to make periodic backups automatically (see General options).
To make backup manually select Backup database in the Tools menu.

To specify a folder for the backup files go to the program options. (see General options). Select Options from the Tools menu.
