When the receiver service is running, everyone can send you any file.

There are several ways to minimize the negative effect on your system:

1. Limit maximum received file size, and maximum count of files (see Receiver options).
2. Review received files and block users who send spam and trash
3. Do not open suspicious files. Check received files for viruses before opening them with external applications.

If you don't plan to receive any files from your customers it is recommended to keep the receiver service switched off. To start or stop the receiver use the Services menu
